Opposition's View - Bolton - FA Cup Semi FInal

Last updated : 15 April 2011 By Dan Buxton

Both sides now look like they can forget about the chaos at the bottom of the table and can concentrate on winning two games at Wembley to lift the FA Cup, back in January did you think the Trotters would be in this position?

Fully expected a good cup run this year as OC has mad a real difference. The club has a proud FA Cup history and as such it is something that we want to rekindle.

What style will Bolton aim for?

Style wise, I would expect the ball on the ground and with Petrov and Lee, some creative wing play. We can mix it in the air if required and still pretty good on set pieces.

Bolton have been in fine form of late but Daniel Sturridge is unavailable on Sunday, how big a loss will that be?

Daniel Sturride has been something of a revelation and will be missed but Ivan Klasnic is just as deadly, probably more so but with a lower work rate.

Would you fancy your side in a penalty shoot out on Sunday?

If pens become necessary, I would expect Davies, Elmander, Klasnic, Lee, Petrov and or Matty Taylor to be the takers. So yes, would be as comfortable as you can be in such circumstances.

Have a good day (but not too good, as we want to return in May)
