Oppositions Season Review: Manchester United

Last updated : 02 June 2010 By Dan Buxton

So how has the season gone in your eyes? Was it better or worse than you expected last August?

I expected a title challenge and last eight in Europe as a minimum, with anything else a bonus. We acheived that and won a trophy but I can't help thinking about those ten days when everything went to ****. An extra goal in either the Blackburn or Chelsea games would have seen us champions of England. An extra goal either of the Bayern games could possibly have seen us go on to be champions of Europe. Truth was once Rooney was injured we had little up front other than a misfiring Berbatov and Macheda who I don't think will make it. Still you can't win everything all the time and we did well considering we lost Ronaldo and Tevez

Who has been your best player over the season? Who has improved the most during 2009/10?

Ronney without a shadow of doubt although he's been a shadow of himself since he picked that injury up in Munich. Most improved has to be Nani, hopefully anderson will pull his finger out of his arse and do the same next seaspn.

What was the best moment of the season for your side?

Can't decide between Owen's injury time winner against Citeh, Rooney's injury time winner aginst Citeh or Scholesys injury time winner aginst Citeh

What was the game of the season?

The 4-3 Derby in September

If you were manager what would you be doing this summer?

A left winger is the priority position

Where do you see the club going from here?

No idea, sadly it looks like the Glazers are here for the time being so we'll have to mke do unless somebody else comes in (The Red Knights are nothing but hot air) We don't need a Mansour or an Abramovich, just someone who'll run the club sensibly. We make enough money to compete with anyone just a shame most of its going down the plughole.
