Oppositions Season Review: Bolton

Last updated : 31 May 2010 By Dan Buxton

So how has the season gone in your eyes? Was it better or worse than you expected last August?

Better in the sense that I predicted us to hold onto ginger minge, and we would end up going down the shitter. Nevertheless, let it not go unsaid that this has been an absolutely agonising season to be a supporter of BWFC.

Who has been your best player over the season? Who has improved the most during 2009/10?

Chung Yong Lee has been great from the start of the season to the finish. But since Coyle's arrival Fabrice Muamba has gone from being clown of the side, to the best player in the side.

What was the best moment of the season for your side?

Playing shit at Stoke and somehow coming from 1 behind to win 2-1 and secure survival.

What was the game of the season?

I honestly can't recall any thrillers. I suppose you would just have to go for the 3-2 at home to Everton. I didn't see that match but it sounds like the most entertaining.

If you were manager what would you be doing this summer?

Finding a more suitable home for the utter dross that Megson recruited, and replacing them with players who can actually play football as opposed to scrapball. (Credit to Coyle here. I think signing Stu Holden was a great start in doing this)

Where do you see the club going from here?

I think we will start going places now under Coyle and in a few years or so, a bigger club will come along and take him from us....and hopefully the board will have learnt its lesson and won't opt for replacing him with a "cheaper alternative".
