Fantasy Football League: Week 22 review

Last updated : 23 January 2010 By Dan Buxton

An amazingly high scoring gameweek has seen a new leader, a new wooden spoon holder and two thirds of the teams added more than 100 points to their totals.

With the gameweek taking in games played this midweek and weekend it allowed players such as Cesc Fabregas and Wayne Rooney two opportunites to bag some points and those two inparticular didn't disappoint grabbing 24 and 33 points respectively.

Starting at the bottom and Micks XI finally hurled themselves off the basement with a 112 point haul whilst 61 points meant that Flash City took there place on the bottom. The lowest score was 42 points, achieved by bOBBYcOX'SbARMYaRMY, and that saw them drop from a podium chasing 5th to a lowly 7th, with century plus scores from Mighty Munford and Copeys boys seeing them rise above b.c.b.a.

The only two sides to still be in the same position were 3rd and 4th placed sides Young Stars(136) and Buxtons lads(107) with the top two switching places, Tony's Lucky Cap's 121 point score enough to wrestle top spot from long time leaders Legends XI, who bagged 84 points.
