Fantasy Football League Review - Week Six

Last updated : 22 September 2009 By Dan Buxton
After five weeks at the top of the pile Buxtons Lads have finally been overtaken, after an amazing week from Legends XI saw them overhaul the Lads by three points.

Legends picked up 79 points, more than twenty more than the next best player, Young Stars who picked up 58, and nearly double what former leaders Buxtons Lads(40) scored.

Starting the week with a 29 point lead, nobody expected a change of leadership but 24 points from Drogba and 12 from Fletcher added to a solid base from other players in the Legends XI.

Buxtons Lads score was in fact the lowest in the league and bOBBYcOX'SbARMYaRMY, who were second last week, have closed to within 17 points with Tony's Lucky Cap also racking up the points to take a chunk out of the gap between them and the top.

At the other end late starter Micks_XI lost a little ground on Mighty Munford, who closed to within six points of Copeys Boys as the bottom four teams all retained their positions.
