Loanee's Round Up - 24/10/09

Last updated : 26 October 2009 By Dan Buxton
Barnsley fielded both loanee's in their line up but were defeated at home to Bristol City. Tykes MAD editor Rob Miles gives is his views on the defensive duo:

Carl Dickinson:

He is worrying me slightly. Gets beaten for pace a little too often and opts for the long ball. But in terms of tackling he is spot on. It was a quiet game for him.

Ryan Shotton:

Still consistently brilliant. Was sent off on Saturday for conceding a penalty that was NEVER a penalty. Very very harsh decision. I really hope Stoke do very well this season just so we might have a chance of signing Shotton permanently. Hes a fans favourite already!

Sheffield United were without there two Potters loanee's as Richard Cresswell, with cracked ribs, and Andrew Davies both missed out with injuries.

Ibrahima Sonko was dropped by Hull and wasn't part of the matchday 18 for their crunch clash with Portsmouth.

Ben Marshall was impressive as stepped off the bench to help the Cobblers turn a 2-1 deficit into a 4-2 victory. Marshall set up two goals with right wing crosses and The Hotel End message board rated him 8.28 out of 10, and made the following comments:

SteveRiches 'His right-wing crosses won the game for us'

BlackpoolCobbler 'Changed the game when he came on'

Ralap 'He did very well when he got on, set up the second with a lovely dribble and cross and played a big part in the third. It would be great to see him back to his start of the season best.'

Drilling Cobbler 'Made the difference. But not at 'White Hart Lane difference' just yet. Lets keep him here this season. Please....'

Danzelle St.Louis-Hamilton played the full 90 minutes as Vauxhall Motors went down by a goal to nil away at Farsley Celtic
