Danny Collins

Played the full 90 minutes as Ipswich beat Brighton 3-1 at Portman Road.

Collins played well at the heart of the defence yet again, being in the right position at the right time to clear a number of crosses away before they could cause any major problems.

Ben Marshall

Winger was in great form once more as he played 90 minutes as Sheffield Wednesday beat Hartlepool 1-0.

Marshall showed a new weapon to his game as his long throw was headed in for the games only goal whilst he went close on a trio of occasions to setting up a second, but poor finishing let the Owls down.

Marshall also went close to sealing the game late on but his fierce shot narrowly missed the target.

Andrew Davies

Played the full 90 minutes as Bradford drew 2-2 away at Burton.

Played well and managed to complete the game despite needing treatment on a couple of occasions after getting a knock to the face during the first half.

Defended strongly and wasn't to blame for either goal but did go close to netting the winner but he mistimed his header from a corner and the ball looped into the keepers arms.

Danny Pugh

Played 90 minutes as Leeds beat Portsmouth 1-0 at Elland Road.

Played a key role as he headed in the games only goal, nodding in from 8 yards out from a corner after 14 minutes.

Went close to doubling the advantage shortly before half time but was also on hand defensively helping out late on to ensure the victory.
