Loanee round up - 29th August

Last updated : 31 August 2009 By Dan Buxton

Ben Marshall

Tough game for the winger as his side found themselves 3-0 down after ten minutes, with the game basically over,

Like the rest of his teammates he had a nightmare first half, failing to really get going but showed his potential on the second half as he took on his defender numerous times, whipped in mahy dangerous crosses and proved a nuisance for the remainder of the game.

The Northampton fans were very impressed with his drive and determination, for such a young player on loan, when more experienced players were showing far less commitment to the team they are contracted too!

'The Hotel End' message board rated his performance a 6.33 and here are a selection of comments about his performance:

Insider 'Lost in space first half, looked very composed second on the ball second'

tony_yeboah 'Best player on the pitch again, his first touch, vision and creativity was way ahead of anyone else'

GrangeParkCobbler 'Yep, lost in the first half...like his 10 teammates, but seemed to rove around a lot more in the second playing across the middle more than usual'

rothcobbler 'He played well, he showed some real heart when some of the others did not. At one point he sprinted the width of the pitch to put a tackle in nobody else could be bothered to'

bigcitylights 'had a good game today without being exceptional. For an 18-year old though, his attitude and desire is outstanding compared to some of the others we've had in on loan in recent times'

Danzelle St.Louis-Hamilton

Danzelle had another impressive performance as Vauxhall Motors drew with local side Stafford Rangers. Although he conceded two goals he put in a point securing performance again, keeping the Motormen in it on many occasions.

Two Vauxhall fans were very impressed with him, commenting the following on the clubs Facebook site:

Simon Dutton 'Danzelle is fast becoming a legend'

Danny Perkins 'Danzelle should be in the Prem, but sign him up now Vauxhalls'
