Loanee round up - 29/1/11

Ben Marshall

Played the whole 90 minutes as Carlisle drew 2-2 with Oldham.

Posters on CarlisleMAD message board Marshall gave Marshall ratings of 5 and 6 out of 10.

He hardly touched the ball all afternoon, never being passed too by his teammates, but apparently looked 'dreadful' and 'ill' throughout the game.

It was his sublime run that set up the first Carlisle goal in the 75th minute.

Diego Arismendi

Came on after 71 minutes as Barnsley lost 2-0 away at Millwall.

Arismendi tried to spark his team into life and one comment on the TykesMAD board said he did more running in 20 minutes than Colace(who he replaced) did in 70.

The Uruguayan will now be hoping to build on his promising display and get himself a place in the starting XI.

Ibrahima Sonko

Played the whole game as Pompey lost 2-1 at home to Burnley.

Distribution was awful, again, but did get a rating of 5/10 in the PompeyMAD report, compared to the 4's that the rest of the defence got. Defensively he was solid enough but gave the ball away EVERY time he was in possession.

Carl Dickinson

Came on asfter 64 minutes at left back as Pompey lost 2-1 with Burnley at Fratton Park.

Reportedly fitted in well after coming on as a sub for Kanu, forcing a reshuffle, and the team looked better once he came on.
