Loanee Round Up - 24/4/10

Last updated : 25 April 2010 By Dan Buxton

Ibrahima Sonko

Was dropped to the bench for Hull's 1-0 defeat to Sunderland and remained an unused sub throughout

Ryan Shotton

Was an unused substitute for Barnsley as they lost 1-0 at home to QPR

Carl Dickinson

Came on as a substitute on his suprise return from a knee injury. Played solidly but looked a bit rusty after 6 weeks out.

Michael Tonge

Played the full game as Derby lost 2-0 away at Bristol City.

Tonge had a quiet game, failing to stamp his authority, as the Rams never really got going in this end of season game with little riding on it. The playmaker has been influential for Derby since he joined on loan and manager Nigel Clough has indicated this week that he would like to get Tonge on loan again next season, as he cannot afford to sign the midfielder permanently.

Tom Soares

Played the first 63 minutes for Sheffield Wednesday in their trip to Cardiff. He was lively and had a mixed day in front of goal.

He set up the Owls opener when he rolled the ball across the 6 yard, perfectly into the path of Johnson and the Jamaican tapped home. The winger also had a couple of opportunities himself but blazed one well over when he should have hit the target and then hit his shot straight at the keeper when he was one on one.

Andy Griffin

Had a disappointing game as Reading lost 3-0 away at Watford.

The third goal was all the right back fault. A looping ball over the top should have been easily dealt with but he dallied on the ball, letting it bounce repeatedly before losing out to Danny Graham. Griffin then fell over allowing Graham a free run in on goal and he duly swept the ball past the keeper.

Ben Marshall

Played the full game as Carlisle went down 3-2 to Southampton at St.Mary's Stadium.

Marshall was busy and a danger throughout but lacked the final ball from the left wing and couldn't get the bit of luck needed when he drifted inside to try and poach a goal

Danzelle St.Louis-Hamilton

Was ruled out of Worcester City's game at home to Eastleigh with an ankle injury

Diego Arismendi

Was a late substitute as Brighton beat Bristol Rovers 2-1 at home. Came on in the 92nd minute with the scores level but was on the pitch as the hosts grabbed a 95th minute penalty to win the game
