Loanee round up - 22/1/11

Last updated : 23 January 2011 By Dan Buxton

Ben Marshall

Played the whole 90 minutes as Carlisle won 1-0 away at Notts County.

According to posters on CarlisleMAD message board Marshall was 'the focal point of the attack' whilst another wrote '9 (MOTM) - Worked unbelievably hard. Some great runs from halfway. Different class on the ball. Ran back from their half to make the last tackle on a one-on-one when the rest of the defence were left standing. Outstanding. Can we buy him please?'.

Another was quoted '8 – Quality on the ball and always eager when he didn’t have it'

Diego Arismendi

Played the full 90 minutes as Barnsley drew 1-1 with Swansea.

Arismendi threw himself into numerous tackles and although most were successful he did give away one potentially dangerous free kick in the second half.

The Uruguayan almost scored a first half own goal when he sliced a free kick an inch over his own crossbar.

Ibrahima Sonko

Played the whole game as Pompey drew 2-2 at home to Leeds.

Some of the posters on PompeyMAD are warming to the defender, with one stating 'he gets the job done' and 'is soldi enough' but all agree that his distribution is terrible and every time he clears the ball the 'fans quickly out on there hard hats'

Carl Dickinson

Played the full 90 minutes at left back as Pompey drew 2-2 with Leeds at Fratton Park.

Had a poor game and his poor marking was at fault for the first goal, described on PompeyMAD as 'the worst player in the squad' and 'simply shocking'.

David Parton

Had no game after Worcester's game was called off due to a frozen pitch
