Loanee round up - 15/1/11

Last updated : 23 January 2011 By Dan Buxton

Ben Marshall

Played the full 90 minutes as Carlisle won 4-0 against Bristol Rovers.

Marshall had four opportunities in the first half, being tackled once, stinging the keepers hands on another occasion whilst having a lob held underneath the crossbar and sending a rocket shot millimetres wide of the far post.

He continued to cause havoc in the second half, having anither effort well saved, whilst his crossing throughout was dangerous and precise. He rounded off his afternoon by winning a penalty in the final five minutes

Diego Arismendi

Wasn't in the matchday squad for Barnsley after picking up a minor injury in training

Ibrahima Sonko

Played the full 90 minutes as Portsmouth conceded two late, late goals to see a 10- lead become a 2-1 defeat against Nottingham Forest.

Sonko's distribution was terrible, as usual, and he started off the Forest comeback when he smashed the ball past his own keeper for an own goal equaliser in the 88th minute.

Carl Dickinson

Played the whole 90 minutes as Portsmouth lost 2-1 at Nottingham Forest.

The defender was again played in the centre of midfield and again had a good game, showing some neat passing, crunching tackles and one thunderous shot.

David Parton

Played the full game as Worcester drew 3-3 at Eastleigh.

The first goal came when a free kick was whipped into the box and Parton and the defence left it for one another but the other two goals were fantastic strikes leaving the Potters youngster with no chance.
