Loanee round up - 12/2/11

Last updated : 13 February 2011 By Dan Buxton

Louis Moult

Was easily MOTM as he inspired a fantastic comeback for Mansfield.

After the Stags conceded two goals in the opening two minutes Moult set about getting his side back in the game and had an overhead kick saved before winning a free kick a minute later.

Moult had another sighter on the half hour when he swivelled inside the area but his shot went over. Just two minutes later, with his side 3-0 down, he scored a fantastic goal. Moult got the ball on the left edge of box, he turned and curled his shot into top corner

Stage two of the comeback was then achieved when the striker was fouled in the box. Won a penalty, which was converted, and also the defender who fouled him was sent off.

Moult the equaled the scores when he scored a header from a corner

The 2nd half was quieter, as the game was more settled, but Moult was still the games most dangerous player and rightfully was named Man of the Match.

Carl Dickinson

Came on in injury time to run down the clock as Portsmouth beat Doncaster 2-0

Ibrahima Sonko

Was an unused sub as Pompey beat Doncaster.

Ben Marshall

Played the full 90 minutes as Carlisle lost 1-0 at Southampton.

Had a better game than in recent outings as he appeared to have got over the illness and injury that have affected him in recent weeks.

Was described as Carlisle's most likely goal threat and was given 7/10 in mosts ratings, mainly as MOTM for Carlisle.

Diego Arismendi

Played the first 84 minutes as Barnsley drew 1-1 at Ipswich.

Had a poor game and Tykes fans are questioning his commitment as he seems to have started backing out of tackles and just wandering the pitch looking very unhappy.
