Michael Tonge

Played the ninety minutes as North End got a much needed win. Comments about Tonge were that he has turned around the side, a class act, a man who brings the best out of others and it is said to be a shame that they can't afford to keep him full time.

Ryan Shotton

Played the full game as Barnsley twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with Newcastle. Didn't have his best game, was described as 'great defensively he just seems a bit slow at the moment although Newcastles forwards were very fast today but he was the same on wednesday'. His attitude was praised however as it was said 'they were and always are the last players on the pitch clapping the fans and I admire the passion they show in every match would be brilliant if we could at least extend their loans till the end of the season.'

Carl Dickinson

Played the full game as Barnsley twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with Newcastle. Had another good game. One Tykes fan commented he was 'great defensively and going forward he went on quite a few runs' whilst both he and Shotton's attitude was applauded when he said 'They were and always are the last players on the pitch clapping the fans and I admire the passion they show in every match would be brilliant if we could at least extend their loans till the end of the season.'

Ben Marshall

Didn't have the best game and was subbed off after 52 minutes as Cheltenham lost at Chesterfield. His substitution is believed to be down to an injury but he was described as 'never really in the game and he is more of a "homer".' and also 'Not in the game and well shackelled by a quick full back. Doesn't seem to like it unless it's all going his way'

Richard Cresswell

Started for Sheffield United as they beat Crystal Palace but didn't impress the Blades fans. Among a whole host of comments were ones such as 'better than usual... some link-up play was good and won a few important headers... but he was still poor... f*cked up with probably the best pass i've ever seen at the lane and generally was absolutely no threat on palace's goal whatsoever... if we'd had a competent striker playing in his place that could have been a cricket score' and 'has to get his act together to get his place on the pitch because his games since he has been back have been average'
