Loanee round up - 1/1/11

Last updated : 23 January 2011 By Dan Buxton

Ben Marshall

Started Carlisle's 2-2 draw at Huddersfield but was forced off after 38 minutes with an injury but had already gone close twice with vicious shots, whilst he also sent in a trio of dangerous crosses

Diego Arismendi

Played the full 90 minutes as Barnsley drew 2-2 at Nottingham Forest.

Arsimendi put himself about and although he wasn't playing at the same level as his early days at Oakwell his performance was one of increased value to his side than his recent games, when selected

Ibrahima Sonko

Started and played the first 85 minutes as Pompey lost 3-0 at Watford. He struggled to contain the Watford frontmen and never really got going in his first start for some time

Carl Dickinson

Played the full 90 minutes as Pompey lost 3-0 at Watford. Had a couple of good runs but, after a long spell on the sidelines due to the snow and a 3 game ban, Dicko took time to get back in the groove defensively and will be hoping to improve in his next game

David Parton

Made his professional debut and kept a clean sheet as Worcester defeated Gloucester 2-0.

Parton was reported as being very composed and confident.
