Has a wealth of experience after managing Port Vale through their most successful era, taking our local rivals from the basement of the football league to the brink of the Premier League before leaving.
Took the role at the Britannia Stadium just before the start of the millenium and deals with contracts aswell as scouting trips at home and abroad.
