Signed from local rivals Crewe Alex after progressing through the youth system at Gresty Road.
An undisclosed fee was decided by tribunal for Lund, and fellow ex-Crewe star Ben Marshall.
Was loaned out for a short spell at Hereford last season to gain some first team experience but looks an exciting prospect for the future after coming on leaps and bounds for the Potters reserves in the second half of his first season after initially failing to settle whilst he also impressed when playing the '2nd XI friendlies' during the last campaign.
Another loan spell is probably needed to give him more valuable first team experience before he is chucked into Premier League duty but he may find himself in Europa League and Carling Cup squads should he not be out on loan when the Potters play in those competitions.
