Promising defensive midfielder who joined the Potters after his father pulled him out of Pompey, despite having two years left on his contract, due to the ongoing financial turmoil at Fratton Park.
Belgian wonderkid Cuvelier, rated as highly as Arsenal sensation Aaron Ramsey by some experts, turned down offers from Tottenham, Fulham and Liverpool to sign for the Potters, with more first team opportunities believed to be behind the decision to pen a two year contract at the Britannia Stadium.
Has was initially placed with the Under 18 side and after an impressive season, even if it was disrupted by injury, 'Flo' will now be looking to impress enough to either earn a loan move or force his way into the Potters first team picture during the 2011/12 season.
