Joined permanently in the summer of 2010, after an initial loan spell during early 2008.

Was a free transfer after being released by Everton, and has stated he is happy to be number three goalkeeper, behind Thomas Sorensen and Asmir Begovic, and that he won't be throwing his toys out of the pram if he doesn't get a game.

Initially signed as a way of giving regular number 1 Simonsen a break and helped the Potters seal promotion to the top flight.

Conceded a goal after 2 minutes of his first debut but then only conceded 6 more as clean sheets in 1-0 away wins at Norwich and Colchester aswell as the goalless draw at Watford where Nash superbly saved a second half penalty and the final day home game against Leicester that sealed promotion for the Potters.

Only played one game since signing after Begovic went on 'strike' prior to the Carling Cup 2nd round tie against Shrewsbury, a game won 2-1 by the Potters.

Is a valuable member of the changing room for his banter and always there to brighten the mood and bring a smile to his team mates faces when they need it most.
