Thomas Welcomes Taggart Signing

The Northern Ireland international defender moved to the Britannia on an initial one months loan deal on Monday and is expected to go straight into Tony Pulis' side that face West Ham.

"We've conceded some silly goals recently and hopefully Gerry will help put a stop to that," Thomas told Stoke City's official website.

"Obviously injuries have meant the defensive partnership has been changing constantly and that doesn't help."
