Potters Teen Ace Joins Carlisle

Potters winger Ben Marshall has rejoined Carlisle on a four month loan deal.

Marshall, 18, will stay at Brunton Park until January 3rd 2011, made 20 appearances for the Cumbrians during his first loan spell at Carlisle, during the second half of last season, scoring three goals.

Carlisle manager Greg Abbott said: "We know what Ben brings having had him for so long last season and we're delighted to be able to bring him back.

"The way we play football at the moment will suit him and he'll give us strength in depth.

"He's very focused and he'll come here to do well and we're really looking forward to working with him again."

Marshall joined the Potters from Crewe last summer after progressing through the youth ranks at Gresty Road, but has yet to make a first-team appearance for City.

The youngster also had successful loan spells at Northampton and Cheltenham last season, scoring a total of 7 goals in 41 games and was linked with an England U19 call up.
