Potters Drawn With Shrewsbury In Carling Cup

Stoke have been drawn to play League Two side Shrewsbury, at the Britannia Stadium, in the second round of the Carling Cup.

As a Premier League side the Potters received a bye for the first round, and were also seeded for the second round.

Local rivals Port Vale and Crewe Alex both beat Championship sides, in QPR and Derby, to progress to the 2nd round.

All second round games will be played on the week commencing 23rd August.
