North East Return For Potters Striker?

City star Tuncay, signed from Middlesbrough for £5m last summer, had an up and down first season at the Britannia Stadium, failing to start a league game until December before again falling out of favour towards the end of the season after storming off down the tunnel on three occasions after being substituted.

Manager Tony Pulis seemed to justify the Turkey captains behaviour, saying that he is from a different culture than we are used to but the fans reaction worsened and boo's rang out when he did it for the third time.

He made 17 starts and 20 sub appearances during the season, scoring 5 goals.

Reports this morning are linking Tunny with a return to the North East, with the Mackems ready to pay £4m for his services.
