MOre signings to come in January for Stoke

Stoke had a busy summer bringing in a total of 10 players for little short of £20m. There were however one or two people who did not arrive and these would undoubtedly be areas which could be targeted once the window reopens for business. The left side of midfield is an area which needs strengthening and Stoke may opt to follow up their interest in Cardiff City's Joe Ledley after failing with a £6m bid on Monday. Another area of concern is that the forward line lacks depth and a last minute bid for Henri Camara collapsed due to other deals taking place.

Strangely, Tony Pulis did not take advantage of the loan market, which is something he has used to great effect since his return from Plymouth 2 years ago.  It would be a surprise if he did not bring in a couple of loaness in the New Year.
