Beat the Manager returns to the MAD network this summer for a World Cup special, and The Boothen Roar is offering you the chance to win cash prizes.
Beat the Manager is a prediction game whereby you will predict the scores for every game through this summers showpiece tournament. You score points dependant on how close you are to the actual result. The ways to score are below:
- If you correctly predict a scoreline, ie 2-1 England win and you predicted England win 2-1, you will earn 20 points.
- If you predict a scoreline with a team winning and the result is correct but not the score, ie 2-1 England win and you predicted England win 3-2, you will earn 5 points.
- You will earn 2 bonus points, to add to your 5, if you get the amount of goals scored by one of the team correct, ie 2-1 England win and you predicted 2-0 England win.
- If you correctly predict a draw you get 5 extra bonus points to add to your total.
It is free to enter but if you wish to win the cash prizes then a £5 entrance fee needs to be made, via paypal, to scfcbuckley@aol.com. Please note due to paypal fee's £5.50 will have to be sent if paying this way. Other ways of payment, cheque etc, can be made an please contact us on stokecityfcmad@aol.com to discuss. When sending payment please specify team name so a note can be made of who is in.
Prizes will depend on how many take part with the winner taking all the fee's if less than 10 take part. Once we get past £50, 50% of that extra money will go to the winner, 30% to the runner up and 20% to fighting men's cancers
So if 10 people take part the winner will take all £50
If 20 people take part the winner will take £75, the runner up £15 and £10 to charity
If 30 people take part the winner will take £100, the runner up £30 and £20 to charity
If 50 people take part the winner will take £150, the runner up £60 and £40 to charity
