City's main deadline day target Cameron Jerome has told the Potters he will not be moving to the Britannia Stadium today, sparking more confusion over the City futures of Tuncay and Ricardo Fuller.

Stoke boss Tony Pulis was hoping to bring in Jerome to allow Tuncay or Fuller to leave for pastures new but the former England U21 star has told the Potters manager he see's his future at St. Andrews and doesn't wish to move at this time, especially with Birmingham in the Carling Cup final in 3 weeks time.

Pulis now has the conundrum of whether to sell or not, and also will now be desperately searching for another possible signing to allow him to let the players wishing to leave to go and get himself enough striking options in the squad.

Stoke are in talks with Middlesbrough over striker Leroy Lita but City will hope for another big name signing to appease the sale of two key fans favourites.
