The Potters travel to the Ukraine for the first game of their Europa League group in tomorrow nights big game. City will be hoping to build a platform for success ahead of five more group games.

Stoke finished 13th in the Premier League but qualified after reaching the FA cup final. The visitors qualified for Europe after falling out of the Champions League at the last qualifying round.

Stoke had a poor away record last season beating just Blackburn, West Brom and Newcastle in the league, but did also beat Wolves and Cardiff away in the cup, and that brilliant 5-0 victory at Wembley in the FA Cup semi final aswell. They have however started this campaign with 1-0 away wins over Thun, Hajduk Split and West Brom and a 1-1 draw at Norwich in their four away games so far.

This is the first time the two sides have met.

The weather experts predict that there will be clear skies, temperatures of 10 degrees celsius and very good visibility. There will be humidity of 81% to go with a near none existent 4mph wind.

Prediction: Stoke find it difficult to have an impact in the final third but manage to keep their hosts at bay and settle for a good point to start their campaign
